Wildpack – Nosedive [Review]

Nosedive is the debut single from Bristol 4-piece Wildpack.

Nosedive is an archetypal British guitar-driven indie track, harking to the classic tones of the Arctic Monkeys, Maximo Park and Catfish & the Bottlemen. This is a must-listen for indie kids searching for a slice of riff-soaked nostalgia in 2020.

Wildpack serve up a somewhat lo-fi sound that still packs a mighty punch. These are the kind of guitar licks and relentless rhythms that could have sweat-soaked fans bouncing at the front of a small indie venue or festival field alike.

Despite being formed as recently as January 2020 at BIMM Bristol, Wildpack seem to have nailed down their sound perfectly. According to the band, lead singer Josh Coates’ lyrics speak of the real and sometimes darker parts of life in the hope that he can bring the lost and lonely together.
