Temple in Man – Colors Bloom [Review]

Temple in Man gears up for the summer with his feel-good anthem, Colors Bloom.

Stockholm based singer-songwriter & producer, Temple in Man, has created an exuberantly lush sound, centring around an absolute killer of a groove. By fusing a wide array of genres, you get the best of a little bit of everything here. The playful, psych-infused synth layers dance around the lo-fi crunch of the bass guitar. A nod to 70s soul legends adds to the musical merriment, providing that groove-filled edge to an already well-crafted sound.

After listening to Colors Bloom, it’s easy to see why Temple in Man is already starting to get the plaudits. Here is a track that is both infectious & unique, laidback & ferociously smooth. At face value, it belongs in the increasingly popular psych-pop canon and with the added retro nuances, it shoots right to the top of my list. This is the perfect tune to put on now that the days are getting longer and the nights are getting warmer.
