Sam Brockington – Fool [Review]

‘Fool’ is the new single from emerging singer-songwriter Sam Brockington.

It’s an uplifting track, striking a nice balance between edgy indie appeal and commercial potential. Sam’s voice has a rich and dynamic range, and is laced with a clear maturity that puts him on a par with more established artists.

Originally from Devon, Sam began his solo career as a busker in Melbourne, Australia, where he was able to develop a distinctive folk inspired singer-songwriter style influenced by the likes of Matt Corby. Since returning to the UK, he’s appeared at festivals including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds.

There’s an honesty and reflective tone to Sam’s vocals and lyrical craft, and this single should hopefully set him up for more success down the line. You can check out the music video below too.
