Night Cap – Heat [Review]

Night Cap have released their latest single, Heat, and it’s an alternative anthem that demands more than one listen.

‘Heat’ is packed with strong rhythms and a chorus so catchy you’ll probably find yourself singing along to it during the second time it comes around. The slick vocals are provided by Ryan King, and they glide through the track as he potently sings about lust and love.

The rest of the band is made up of: Jake Bomgaars on lead vocals and guitar, Alex Alfonso on bass, Adrian Ayala on keys, and Deryk Camazine on drums. They’re from Austin, Texas.

Despite being from the States, their sound fits perfectly well into the British indie scene. The first band that came to mind with the first listen was Catfish and the Bottlemen. If you’re a fan of them, or The 1975 or Blossoms, definitely get Night Cap on your next playlist.

Heat is the second half of a two-part release. The first half was ‘Somehow.’ We can’t wait for more material from this band.
