Muzuri – 0127 [Review]

Muzuri shares his debut track 0127.

Originally from North-East France, but now residing in East London, Muzuri gained a name for himself for producing beats for others under the moniker, K93. After working on his songwriting, rapping and singing, he decided to change things up and release his own music. 0127 is a statement tune, announcing Muzuri’s arrival onto the music scene.

It’s gained some traction already in the UK, with radio play on BBC Essex and playtime across different venues such as North London Club. It’s easy to see why, as the distinctive bass and smooth vocal flow is immediately likeable. There’s the nod to his roots as well, with the use of French slang ‘wesh’ tied in with the UK hip-hop/grime feel. 0127 is a great debut for the talented artist and hopefully, more will drop in the not too distant future.
