Monad – September [Review]

September is the latest psych pop track from Tel-Aviv based artist, Monad.

Well crafted and excellently produced, Monad has captured a fantastically spacey atmosphere here with September. The instruments are carefully placed and always hit the right spot, bringing a real depth to the track. It’s a tune that hooks you and keeps you entertained from start to finish.

As you glide through the song, the comparisons to Tame Impala are striking. The wave after wave of fuzzy guitar tones and dreamy vocals elegantly mirror the best bits of Kevin Parker’s work. A vibrant mix of basslines stick tight to the drumming pattern, only solidifying this comparison further. It’s a perfectly weighted and exciting ride throughout, ending with a sense of unfinished business, making you only want more.
