Mark Redito keeps the clouds away on his new single.

Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Mark Redito has already built up a strong following through his highly charged and energetic live sets.  After shedding his original moniker of Spazzkid and taking a moment for personal and artistic reflection, Redito brought us his first single under his own name, ‘You’ll Only Love Me When I’m Gone’, last year.  The song had all the makings of a dance anthem with deep beats, obscure vocal chops and modified harps.

Hot on the heels of ‘You’ll Only Love Me When I’m Gone’ comes Redito’s new single, ‘Cloud Keep’.  Written whilst he was suffering from agonizing writer’s block and featuring guest vocals by Brooklyn-based songstress and producer Abbi Press, ‘Cloud Keep’ is a love song for the digital generation.  Featuring rich synthesizer textures and bouncing electro-funk pop beats, ‘Cloud Keep’ is sure to make you want to move your feet this summer.  Meanwhile, the highly inventive accompanying video features a racially diverse cast and a prominent LGBTQ relationship theme at its centre.  ‘Cloud Keep’ is a love song for the post-Facebook generation and one to fall in love with, and maybe to, this summer.
