It’s a smooth, lyrically-tight, three verse cut, with solids bars over what sounds to me like an awesome sample of Modest Mouse.
The Palmer Squares have been on my radar for a while, but this was my first listen to Kris Gears. Got to admit I’m a fan. If you’re into underground, up-coming hip-hop and haven’t checked this out yet, you should. Clean production, clever wordplay and skilled delivery.
