hs. – Girl (I Miss You) [Review]

hs. bring their silky smooth groove to the table with their track, Girl (I Miss You).

The duo from Oregon channel their easy-going roots and pour it into their very own brand of indie-pop. The arrangement in Girl (I Miss You) is minimalistic at times, as well as superbly layered in others. The sensuous bass tones and perky synth melodies complement one another, ultimately producing a sound that is both memorable and unique.

There are elements of indie rock dotted around the track, too. The blistering guitar tones burst out at points, bringing a new dimension to the mellow groove. Overall, hs. have created a track that has the perfect blend of sultry pop nuances and catchy indie-rock hooks, making it appealing to anyone who knows how to groove.
