HOTFACE – Death Wish 303 EP [Review]

Death Wish 303 is the new EP from HOTFACE.

The four-track EP is the latest instalment from the DJ from Blyth, Northumberland. Filled with dutty melodies and heady licks, Death Wish 303 is 22 minutes of sheer Acid House delight. You are immediately thrown back into the old school, hacienda days as the bass takes over your soul. The arrangement throughout is in perfect balance, giving each track its own character.

Recognised as the record label Master of Ecstasy’s best selling artist, HOTFACE clearly knows how to produce a banging EP. Death Wish 303 is the fourth EP to be released by him, and it’s obvious that he carries a sound that is uniquely his. With influences such as Aphex Twin shining through, this is not one to be missed. There’s also a video for the first track from the EP, Light Sleeper, which you can find here.
