Now Reading:

‘Blushing’ is the Swedish indie pop outfit Hater’s latest single from their most recent EP ‘Red Blinders’, which came out on December 1st via Fire Records.

Hater was formed by friends, Caroline Landahl, Måns Leonartsson, Adam Agace and Lukas Thomasson in Malmö last year, taking their musical cues from the likes of Alvvays, The Pretenders, Neil Young and The Radio Dept. Blushing continues Hater’s tradition of jangly interlocking guitars and airy, arching vocals.

Blushing has a lovely melancholy melody delivered by vocalist Caroline Landahl and at some points, the lyrics seem to disappear behind the dominating drum and sparkling guitar. The song sounds like it’s is battling against the cold, and is perfect to hear under a warm blanket, waiting for summer.

This song couldn’t be more ideal to listen to during this harsh weather, so make sure to give Blushing a listen!
