Halo Kitsch – (Un)even [Review]

Upcoming Hollywood-based artist Halo Kitsch shares her latest single (Un)even.

(Un)even – and Halo Kitsch for that matter – has all the makings of a mainstream pop star. Distinctive vocals, captivating melodies and a fun, energetic persona create a trifecta of unmistakable potential.

Coming out of Hollywood, CA, Halo’s debut single All (Your) Fault was quickly picked up by multiple Spotify Editorial playlists including Outliers, It’s a Bop, and Fresh Finds. I’d be surprised if (Un)even doesn’t find the same success.

This is a song about heartbreak – but conveyed in an upbeat, danceable style. Sure, that’s a juxtaposition, but it works perfectly with the vibe and context of the song.

There are definite Florence Welch comparisons to be made when it comes to Halo’s vocal tones, mixed with classic 21st century pop sensibilities that could help this track blow up in a big way.
