Disco Shrine – Up In The Air [Review]

Disco Shrine shares her latest electro-pop anthem ‘Up In The Air’.

This track serves up smooth synth-pop grooves and trap attitude, creeping forward from an understated introduction, after which the driving beat spins you towards a climatic chorus, laced with a dangerously addictive hook.

As the echo effects and synth lines shimmer and rise, Disco Shrine draws you in further with her sultry and memorable vocals, which perfectly suit the slick electronic instrumental floating in the background.

Jessica Delijani is the Los Angeles-based rising pop star and sought-after DJ behind the Disco Shrine alias. Intriguingly, Jessica states that the single tells the story of her parent’s struggles when immigrating to America from Iran, while also reflecting the current situation in America.

‘Up In The Air’ is the first release in a series of planned Disco Shrine tracks for 2018, so keep an ear to the ground for more in the near future.
