Cappellino – Ghost Town [Review]

Solo acoustic loop pedal artist from Watford, Cappellino has just released the title track from his debut album.

Roberto Cappellino aka “Cappellino” has been making music “since forever” with his acoustic guitar and heart warming vocals that draw you into the adventure he wants to take you on. Having been longlisted to perform at Glastonbury 2017 for “a superbly composed, performed and produced song that feels both epic and intimate at the same time” he has been thriving ever since.

His debut EP was released after years of keeping his craft in bands around his local Watford scene. Roberto recorded at home with an acoustic guitar and loop pedal which soon became his staple. This “staple” transfers itself into the title track “Ghost Town” from his up and coming release of the same name.

Snapping beats make you want to tap away your feet to the sound of something new and fresh. Melodic ambient sounds bend the track into new shapes showing what type of artist Cappellino has and is becoming after spending most of 2017 writing and recording. The first single for the up and coming release “Love Is All I Want” received national airplay on BBC 6 Music, with host Edward Adoo calling it “infectious”.

Cappellino’s debut album “Ghost Town” is set for release later this year.
