bandanna – Ghost Home [Review]

Ghost Home is the new track from Atlanta based four-piece bandanna.

Starting out as a solo artist, Anna Griffith signed to Cat Family Records and enlisted the talents of Tim Holder on bass, Nick Bell on drums and Mason Palanti on keys. They then became ‘a band with Anna’ or bandanna. With thoughtful lyricism and catchy rhythmic progressions, Ghost Home is a testament to when indie rock is done right.

There’s a wonderful likeness to artists like Snail Mail, as the vulnerable sound washes over you, staying with you long after the song has finished. The intricate guitar parts and steady rhythm give life to the track. The lofty vocals dance over the top and entice you to sway along to the indie jaunt. Ghost Home has all the right elements to make it one of the songs of the autumn.
