Arvid Nero – Mother Earth [Review]

Arvid Nero drops some captivating Scandinavian soul with his latest release Mother Earth.

Mother Earth is a shuffling, soulful cut, marching it’s way forward with persistence and growing pertinence. Nero’s bluesy voice cuts perfectly through the almost wild-western instrumentals, where wailing sounds set the scene before meeting more subtle acoustic melodies.

Fans of the award-winning Swedish outfit The Magnolia may well recognise Arvid Nero’s sultry vocal chops. The former Magnolia front man is about to launch his debut three track EP – Introducing Arvid Nero – set to drop in the coming months.

I’m looking forward to seeing Arvid moves forward with his own career, and if Mother Earth is anything to go by, he’s surely got plenty more intriguing releases in the tank.
